Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary Point of Contact for customers within the assigned market

  • Proactively track, pursue & prepare for forecasted opportunities

  • Attend sitewalks (site survey) for projects

  • Assess & clearly define customer requirements

  • Prepare proposals for services; to include pricing (with from support internal resources)

  • Prepare / answer RFIs, Field Change Notices, and Field Work Orders.

  • Identify, vet, and manage subcontractors (including creating statements of work & budgets)

  • Responsible for Project & Construction Management of network deployments

  • Project status reporting, scheduling, and deliverables documentation

  • Manage performance of team members, mentor/guide team members

  • Conduct thorough inspections & sign-off on all completed assigned projects

  • Develop punch lists and mark up drawings to reflect as-built conditions.

  • Ensure project deployments meet CNS & Customer safety, quality, and performance standards

  • Ensure projects are completed on-time & meet (or exceed) forecasted profitability

  • Proactively reduce project costs, without sacrificing safety or quality

  • Proactively expedite the completion of high-quality network installations

Our Mission & Values

Technical Project Manager (TPM)

Concise Network Solutions is looking for a Technical Project Manager to be the Primary Point of Contact (POC) for assigned customers and manages multiple telecom projects within the assigned market. The TPM is also responsible for conducting site-walks, preparing project estimates, proposals/quotes, project management & construction management; to include managing subcontractors.

 

Primary project scopes of work include; but not limited to:

 

In-building DAS

            Outdoor Small Cell

            Site Integrations

            RF Testing & Troubleshooting

            Outdoor Small Cell Drive-Testing

            Outdoor Small Cell RAN I&C Integrations

            Structured Cabling

            Landline Networks

 

 

The TPM manages key client projects, ensuring their completion is successful, safe, of high-quality, fully functional, on-time, and within budget & scope. The TPM sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and tracks, documents, and reports the progress of each project assigned. Prepare reports for customers & upper management regarding the status of assigned projects.

 

Solicit, evaluate, and approve supplier/subcontractor quotes & proposals to meet project specifications and budget requirements. Responsible for quality control & performance reviews of assigned resources. The TPM also works directly with clients to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and standards are met, and adhere to approved budgets. All out-of-scope request require change-order and executive approval. The TPM will hire & manage subcontractors (with COO approval) and coordinate with internal departments to ensure all aspects of each project are successfully completed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent certifications & experience)

  • BISCI Certifications a plus

  • DAS OEM Certifications

  • iBwave Design Certified

  • 5+ years of Project & Construction Management of DAS projects

  • Cable OEM Certifications

  • 5+ years of Project & Construction Management of structured cabling projects

  • 3+ years of Project & Construction Management of Outdoor Small Cell projects

  • Background of RF theory, specifically as it applies to DAS & Small Cell

  • Must be familiar with current DAS & Small Cell technologies, platforms and testing standards

  • Provide at least (3) DAS / Small Cell industry references

  • Effective & Professional Communication & Customer Service skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, WORD, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Self-driven job performance & problem-solving skills

  • Commitment to abiding by OSHA and all other safety standards and procedures

  • Ability to identify different colors and learn color codes

  • Ability to climb ladders and install cable & equipment in above-head in ceilings

  • Ability to work at heights and lift 50+ pounds

  • Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards

  • Pass background check & drug-screening
